Cardiology
We provide the Countries most comprehensive cardiovascular (heart) evaluation and consultation along with a full suite of state-of-the-art cardiac testing. We evaluate and treat heart problems such as coronary artery disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart valve problems and heart failure. As one of the country’s premier respiratory institutions, we also specialize in heartdiseases related to lung disease such as pulmonary hypertension, cardiac sarcoidosis and other more rare diseases. We also specialize in the evaluation of patients with shortness of breath with exercise, preventive cardiology, exercise physiology, and are expert in the use of nutrition to improveand reduce cardiovascular risk
Conditions We Treat:
- Congestive Heart Failure
- Coronary Artery Disease (CAD)
- Diastolic Dysfunction
- Dyspnea (Shortness of Breath)
- Heart Valve Disease
- High Cholesterol
- Hypertension
Cardiology procedures:
Coronary Angiography:
- Diagnostic Coronary Angiography: Using contrast dye and X-ray imaging to visualize the coronary arteries and identify blockages or narrowing.
- Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR): Measuring blood pressure and ow across narrowed coronary arteries to assess the need for coronary intervention
Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI):
- Coronary Angioplasty: Opening narrowed or blocked coronary arteries by inflflating a balloon catheter to compress the plaque against the artery walls.
- Stenting: Placing a small mesh tube (stent) within the coronary artery to keep it open and improve blood flflow.
Intravascular Imaging:
- Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS): Using a tiny ultrasound probe on a catheter to obtain detailed images of the inside of the coronary arteries.
- Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT): Using light waves to create high-resolution images of the coronary arteries, providing precise information about plaque composition and vessel structure.
Structural Heart Interventions:
- Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR): Replacing a diseased aortic valve with a prosthetic valve through a catheter, without the need for open-heart surgery.
- MitraClip: Repairing a leaking heart valve (mitral regurgitation) by clipping the valve leaflflets together to improve valve function.
- Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) Closure:Closing a small hole between the heart’s upper chambers (PFO) using a closure device to prevent abnormal blood flflow
Electrophysiology Procedures:
- Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy Catheter Ablation: Correcting abnormal heart rhythms (arrhythmias) by delivering radiofrequency or cryoenergythrough a catheter to destroy the abnormal tissue causing the rhythm disturbance
- Implantable Cardioverter Defifibrillator(ICD) Placement: Implanting a device that monitors heart rhythm and delivers electrical shocks to restore normal rhythm in case of life-threatening arrhythmias.
- Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (CRT): Implanting a special pacemaker to coordinate and optimize the pumping action of the heart’s chambers in patients with heart failure
We provide the highest possible standard of care and treatment in a professional and compassionate manner to every person who avails of our services” and Our medical specialists are certified medical specialist, PHD holders in their field of specializations, with experience rage of 7-40 years.
