The Ophthalmology department deals with the screening, diagnosis and management of optical, medical and surgical disorders and diseases of the eye and associated orbital structures and neuro-visual pathways. The department relies on a combination of diagnostic, medical and surgical skills. The department is staffffed by eye specialist who is expert in his fifield with expreince in Ophthalmology and his team who look after a broad range of patients from newborns to geriatric patients. A large portion of the care and treatment they provide is done in their private offiffiffice at the Outpatient department They work with other physicians and health care professionals in the management of the eye. They treat diseases of the cornea and external disease, glaucoma, neuro-ophthalmology, ophthalmic pathology, pediatric ophthalmology, retina, uveitis and low vision.
